Known to practice feminism with a vengance, this Tribe is said to originated when Luna first gathered a cult of warrior-women in
ancient Greece. Considered Artemis incarnate, these she-wolves consider themselves the protectors of both the Wyld and women.
Their hatred of the "Patriarch" and his society has also shown within their tribe. For centuries it was believed that the Black Furies
only gave birth to female Garou, history showed no male members other than kinfolk. In reality they killed all male Garou, however
over the past several of hundred years they have given up this practice, instead giving away their male Garou to other Tribes, most
commonly the Children of Gaia. The only exception to this being their male Metis, though it is unknown why they have made that exception.
Contrary to the steriotype of super feminist psycho-lesbians who teach their cubs to hate all men on principle, the Black Furies try to
give females a chance to voice their beliefs openly, and to act upon them. Because of this teaching, no two Furies interperate the
teachings of the tribe alike. The Tribe is also known for its vast mystical wisdom, fierce pride and passion for politics. Despite
being renouned for thier wisdom, honor is considered the greatest virtue of the tribe; if a Black Fury gives it's word, she will go through hell to keep it.
Tribal Totem: Pegasus
Initial Willpower: 3
Background Restrictions: None
Beginning Starting Gifts: Breath of the Wyld, Hightened Senses, Sense Wyrm
Advantage:
The Furies can regain one spent Willpower Trait by spending a day at a site holy to Gaia, such as a caern or glade. They can
continue regaining spent Traits at a rate of one per day untill they have reached their maximum.
Disadvantage:
The Black Furies are more likely to frenzy when angered by men than they are by women. They must spend an additional
Willpower Trait to avoid frenzy when angered by men. This Drawback does not impact a Fury's day-to day- interaction with men; it only affects them when frenzy is a danger.
Wolf Form:
While in Crinos, Hispo, and Lupus forms the Black Furie's fur is anywhere from pitch black to a dark gray in color. Some Furies also show silver, gray, or white highlights mix in.
